Chai Cancer Care
Organisation type: Voluntary or Community Sector
Chai Cancer Care is the Jewish community’s dedicated cancer support organisation providing specialised support and expert care to cancer patients, their families and friends. The full range of services is available at our flagship centre in North West London. In addition to our flagship centre, Chai’s services can be accessed from 11 sites across the UK.
For those clients who can’t come to a Chai centre because they are too unwell, Chai offers a Home Support Service. Clients who live some distance from a Chai site, or even live abroad, can still benefit from our expertise and care, through telephone and Skype support.
The breadth of Chai’s services increases each year in response to the needs of our clients and growing demand.
Each client at Chai is given individual attention and we can ensure complete confidentiality.
All our professional staff are fully experienced, trained and accredited.
Chai does not receive any statutory funding and does not charge for any services as we are aware of the financial impact a cancer diagnosis can have on clients.
We do not have waiting lists in any of our centres and we will respond immediately.
