Organisation details

Haringey Junior Ice Hockey Club (HJIHC)

Organisation type: Voluntary or Community Sector

We are a friendly Junior Ice Hockey Club situated in the North London area with the home rink located in the beautiful Alexandra Palace facility.

The objective of the club is to bring more children the joy of playing ice hockey game; to provide physical and social development and fun in the safe environment for young girls and boys.

Our teams play under the jurisdiction of the English Ice Hockey Association in the South divisions, and we have teams at all age groups as well as U16 Girls.

We also run a successful ‘Learn to Play’ programme, to help even absolute beginners get involved and join the age appropriate team.

The club is run on the volunteering base and any parents involvement is most welcome.

All our coaching and managerial staff involved with the club have undergone relevant EIHA certification courses and DBS checks, and we operate within a comprehensive child protection policy, to ensure the welfare of everyone involved and to comply with EIHA requirements.
