Child Bereavement UK supports families and educates professionals when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, or when a child is facing bereavement. Every year we train over 9,000 professionals, helping them to better understand and meet the needs of grieving families.
In the UK, when a baby or child dies, or a child is bereaved, many of those affected are unable to access good quality support which meets their individual needs. Child Bereavement UK believes all families should have the support they need to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. Our aim is to make sure they do.

We support children and young people up to the age of 25 who have been bereaved of someone special. This is through monthly face-to-face support sessions either individually, as a family or in a group setting. we also offer parenting support for parents or carers who are supporting bereaved children either through face-to-face support or through booked telephone support.
we also support parents who have been bereaved of a baby or child at any age. This is also through monthly face-to-face support sessions either individually, as a couple or in a group setting. we also offer booked telephone support to bereaved parents.
We are a national charity, however we may not always have a location near to where you live. If this is the case, our national helpline for support and information can be used to locate other charities and services in your area. Alternatively we can offer booked telephone support to parents and carers of bereaved children or to bereaved parents themselves.
